Peels

Begin your journey to radiant skin! A chemical peel is a safe and effective way of removing dry, dead build-up from the surface of the skin. Advanced Esthetician, Sabel Fleshman and Licensed Esthetician Kim, have curated personalized peels for skin rejuvenation. Each peel is customized to the patient's unique skin type and condition. Whether you are looking for something to help with acne, acne scarring, or skin rejuvenation, Alora has something for every occasion. Offering a variety of peels in Eugene, Oregon including chemical peels, fusion peels, and TCA peels (scroll down to learn more about each unique treatment). The specialists at Alora Wellness & Spa will create a peel schedule for you based on your goals and skin. Interested in skincare too? Just ask!

About Alora Wellness & Spa Peels

What is a chemical peel?

A chemical peel uses an acidic solution applied to the skin to remove damaged top layers, speed cell turnover, and boost collagen growth for a brighter, more even-toned complexion. By creating a controlled injury at a specific depth, chemical peels stimulate new skin growth to improve skin texture and appearance.

What can a peel do for me?

At the start, healthy skin cells are round and plump. As they work their way to the surface of the skin they become dry, dead, and flat. A build-up of these scaly cells can create the appearance of a shallow, unhealthy, wrinkled, dry, and flaking complexion. To more oily skin types this build-up causes blemishes, acne, and blackheads or comedones. The 3-step process of dermaplaning, chemical application, and refining removes the dry, dead build-up and creates a beautiful, supple, and healthy complexion.

What does a peel treat?

Peels can effectively treat issues like acne, acne scars, age spots, melasma, hyperpigmentation, rough skin, sun damage, fine lines, and wrinkles. Though primarily for the face, they can be applied to the neck, chest, and hands as well.

How many sessions will I need?

To transform your skin you will need to do 4-6 sessions and space them out every 2 weeks. To maintain your desired result, after your initial peel program, you will need to be seen every 4-6 weeks for maintenance peels.

Treatment Planner

Need help deciding which treatments are right for you?

Our treatment planner lets you select your cosmetic concerns to develop a custom treatment plan.

Get Started

What to expect from a peel appointment:

During your first visit, Advanced Esthetician Sabel or Licensed Esthetician Kim, will discuss any concerns or goals you may have in regards to your face. From there, they will create a customized peel schedule and recommend any applicable skincare. If need be, they will also recommend any laser or radio-frequency treatments that may help boost your skin goals.

The peel itself is not a painful procedure. Dermaplaning alone feels a lot like a cat licking your skin or a light scrape. Depending on your skin type and desired goals, a chemical will be applied and allowed to penetrate more dry, dead layers. This sensation can feel slightly tingly and to some hot but lasts for about 90 seconds. Once removed your skin will be refined with a gauze buff or cryogen. This last step can feel cool to the skin. The entire process takes 30 minutes. Afterward, your skin will look refreshed and slightly pink. There is no downtime and you can go right back to work if needed. Follow your skin schedule to achieve your dream skin!

The Alora Fusion Peel is perfect for EVERYONE!

AHA Vitamin C Brightening Peel | 30 minutes | $150

Alpha Hydroxy Acids are derived from fruit and milk sugars and have been used for thousands of years as a skin rejuvenating product. One of the milder forms of chemical peels, AHA helps to promote new cell growth for a healthy and radiant complexion.

AHA combined with Vitamin C, a proven antioxidant, helps prevent sun spots and lighten the appearance of hyper-pigmentation. It also targets age spots and helps to smooth out skin tone! Light flaking is to be expected post-treatment for 3-4 days.

Jessner Peel | 30 minutes | $150

The Jessner Chemical Peel solution is made up of three acids: Salicylic Acid, Lactic Acid, and Resorcinol. Due to its unique blend of active peeling agents, the medium strength Jessner's Solution skin peel revitalizes and renews skin like none other.

Our Jessner Chemical Peel is a three-pronged combination therapy that ensures real results for individuals plagued with acne, enlarged pores, excessive sebum production, and hyperpigmentation. The downtime is short-term to moderate, however, the remarkable results are long-lasting! Skin may appear darker post-treatment for several days. Depending on the condition of the skin light to moderate peeling can be expected 5-7 days post-procedure.

TCA 20% Peel | $350

The TCA 20% Peel addresses hyperpigmentation, deep wrinkles, sagging skin, and texture issues. This is an extremely deep peel that will cause a significant amount of heavy peeling in sheets and is only intended for experienced users. If after care is not done correctly it can cause damage to the skin. Following instructions pre & post peel is mandatory. Depending on the condition of your skin it is possible you would need 2 treatments spaced out 8 weeks apart from each other. Over 80% of people only need one. Requires a consultation prior to scheduling.
