What to Expect at Your Peel Appointment

During your first visit your Esthetician will discuss any concerns or goals you may have in regards to your face. From there, they will create a customized peel schedule and recommend any applicable skincare. If need be, they will also recommend any laser or radio-frequency treatments that may help boost your skin goals.

The peel itself is not a painful procedure. Dermaplaning alone feels a lot like a cat licking your skin or a light scrape. Depending on your skin type and desired goals, a chemical will be applied and allowed to penetrate more dry, dead layers. This sensation can feel slightly tingly and to some hot but lasts for about 90 seconds. Once removed your skin will be refined with a gauze buff or cryogen. This last step can feel cool to the skin. The entire process takes 30 minutes. Afterward, your skin will look refreshed and slightly pink. There is no downtime, and you can go right back to work if needed. Follow your skin schedule to achieve your dream skin!

Fusion Peel | 30 minutes
An Alora Fusion Peel is a blend of acids and fruit enzymes with minimal irritation and fabulous corrective action! It removes the outermost layers of skin without causing intense discomfort or irritation.

Our Fusion Peel has little to no downtime and will produce light peeling, similar to peeling after a mild sunburn. The peeling will normally start on day 4 or 5 and last up to 7 days. The Alora Fusion Peel is perfect for EVERYONE!
AHA Vitamin C Brightening Peel | 30 minutes
Alpha Hydroxy Acids are derived from fruit and milk sugars and have been used for thousands of years as a skin rejuvenating product. One of the milder forms of chemical peels, AHA helps to promote new cell growth for a healthy and radiant complexion.

AHA combined with Vitamin C, a proven antioxidant, helps prevent sunspots and lighten the appearance of hyper-pigmentation. It also targets age spots and helps to smooth out skin tone! Light flaking is to be expected post-treatment for 3-4 days.

Jessner Peel | 30 minutes
The Jessner Chemical Peel solution is made up of three acids: Salicylic Acid, Lactic Acid, and Resorcinol. Due to its unique blend of active peeling agents, the medium strength Jessner's Solution skin peel revitalizes and renews skin like none other.

Our Jessner Chemical Peel is a three-pronged combination therapy that ensures real results for individuals plagued with acne, enlarged pores, excessive sebum production, and hyperpigmentation. The downtime is short-term to moderate; however, the remarkable results are long-lasting! Skin may appear darker post-treatment for several days. Depending on the condition of the skin light to moderate peeling can be expected 5-7 days post-procedure.
