We find that the best candidates for Emsella urinary incontinence treatments are in good overall health but have a constant or near-constant feeling of needing to urinate. How the Treatment Works

The Emsella chair emits electromagnetic waves that strengthen and rejuvenate the pelvic floor muscles. These invisible waves do not affect or harm the surface layers of skin, and you will not feel them during treatment, though you may experience some tingling and pelvic floor muscle contractions.

All the treatment requires is sitting on the Emsella chair for a specified period of time (usually 30 minutes) while the electromagnetic energy targets your pelvic floor. You can catch up on emails, check in on social media, or just sit and relax while the treatment takes place.

Most of our patients see their best results with a treatment series of 6 total treatments spaced over a 3-week period. No anesthesia is needed during Emsella treatments and the treatments are completely comfortable.

Because Emsella is completely nonsurgical, no downtime is required and you can carry on with your day’s activities right after leaving our office. You may start to see improvement in symptoms after your first session. The results will typically continue to improve over the next few weeks.
