The cost of laser hair removal varies depending on the treatment area, the number of sessions needed and other factors. Smaller areas like the upper lip or underarms are typically priced lower per session, while larger areas like the legs or back cost more.
The best way to get an accurate number for your specific goals is to schedule a consultation so we can assess your treatment areas, recommend a plan and walk you through our current pricing and financing options.
Most patients describe it as a mild stinging or snapping sensation. Our Gentle Pro system uses distinctive cooling technology that significantly minimizes discomfort, and most patients find it far more comfortable than waxing or electrolysis. If at any point the treatment feels too uncomfortable, our specialists can adjust the energy settings.
Shave the treatment area 1 to 2 days before your session. Avoid waxing, plucking or electrolysis for at least four weeks prior, as these remove the hair root that the laser targets. Come to your appointment with clean, product-free skin, and avoid sun exposure or self-tanner on the area for at least two weeks beforehand.
Yes. Shaving between sessions is fine and actually encouraged to keep the area tidy. What you should avoid between treatments is waxing, plucking, threading or using depilatory creams, as these remove the hair root that the laser needs to be present to target.
Sessions are typically scheduled 4 to 6 weeks apart to target hair in its active growth phase. Your provider will recommend a spacing schedule based on the area being treated, since hair growth cycles vary by body region.
The treated area may look and feel like a mild sunburn for 24 to 48 hours. Redness and slight swelling around the follicles is normal and typically resolves quickly. You can return to normal activities the same day. Avoid sun exposure, hot showers and strenuous exercise for 24 to 48 hours after your session.
Not right away. Over the 1 to 3 weeks following each session, treated hairs will gradually shed on their own. You may notice stubble-like hairs working their way out of the skin. This is normal and a sign the treatment is working. Avoid picking or pulling at them.
Laser hair removal provides permanent hair reduction, but not always 100% permanent elimination. After completing the recommended series of 6 to 8 treatments, most clients experience a dramatic, lasting reduction. Some may need an occasional touch-up session, as things like pregnancy, menopause or even certain medications can sometimes stimulate new hair growth over time.
Yes, active tans can increase the risk of skin irritation and negatively affect results. We ask that you avoid sun exposure and self-tanning products for at least two weeks before each session. If you arrive with a fresh tan, we may need to reschedule your appointment for your safety.
Laser hair removal is not recommended during pregnancy. We ask that you wait until after you have delivered and finished breastfeeding before resuming or beginning treatments.
