About Exosomes Injections
Exosomes can be an excellent option for both hair loss prevention AND treatment. Not only is it far less expensive than traditional hair transplant or grafting procedures, it is also far more comfortable. Exosomes have the ability to increase hair thickness, address a receding hairline, and even improve the appearance of severe baldness in women and men.
What types of hair loss can exosomes treat?
Exosome therapy is a versatile option that can treat many different types of hair loss, including:
- Alopecia hair loss
- Traction alopecia
- Chemotherapy hair loss
- Stress-related hair loss
- Post-Covid hair loss
What is exosome treatment like?
Exosomes contain over 300 growth factors, naturally occurring secreted proteins that can stimulate cell proliferation. Unlike PRP therapy, there is no need to draw and prepare your blood as part of the treatment session. Instead, the natural and non-toxic exosome matrix is pre-prepared for injection before your appointment. During treatment, we will administer a series of very small injections into the areas of the scalp targeted for hair restoration. The injection process is quick, and your entire appointment should take under 30 minutes.
How do exosomes interact with other hair loss treatments?
If you are taking hair loss supplements or using topical treatments such as Rogaine or Finasteride, please let us know during your appointment. You will not need to stop these treatments in almost all cases but it is important for us to know which treatments you are currently using to minimize hair loss.
What should I expect after treatment?
There is no downtime after hair exosome treatments. You may feel slight tenderness at the injection sites for a few hours. Avoid washing your hair until the day after your appointment. Over the coming months, you should start to see noticeably thicker hair and new hair growth in the treatment area.
How much do exosome injections cost?
We charge $1,000 per session for hair restoration. We can advise on how many treatment sessions you will need based on the degree of hair loss and the results you want to achieve. Generally you will need to wait 3 to 4 months between treatments so we can gauge the effectiveness and progress.
